CY told me that I haven't been blogging for ages. So thought I would blog again today. Well, actually I am not really sure what to blog about, considering that the past week are filled with almost nothing but work, sleep and loads of fast food. Guess if I don't cut down on the fast food soon, I'd probably grow too fat to come in my room door. Just kidding but yah, I think I should cut down soon. Hmm. So what should I blog about? How about a show that I saw in the past week on TV? Re-watched "I am Sam" when it showed on TV last Saturday and what can I say but that "you never ever get too tired of nice shows". I particularly liked one verse from the film which goes something like this - "You don't know what it is like to try and try, and to try your best but still not get something that you want." I guess that kind of echoes what most of us would have felt at some point or another during our life. When we so depserately want something and tried our best to work towards it but are still unable to get it. Tough luck huh? But I guess that is the way things goes. When we were young, somehow we were inculcated with the thought that if we tried our best and perservere, we would get there eventually. Just look at the heroes in those shows that we watched in the past. Don't they eventually get to the point that they wanted so long as they persevered through the difficult times? But as we grow up, things somehow change huh? I guess it is not really the things that have changed. Things have always been this way, just that we are exposed to it only when we grow up. Even the shows these days portray more of the helplessness of mankind don't you think? No longer do you get those shows when the good guys win in the end. Sometimes, they die too. And isn't that but reality? No one ever says that you will get what you want if you are the good guy. And oh by the way, how would you define the good guy? It isn't that straight forward anymore isn't it? Life is complicated huh? It really isn't a fairy tale world out there ain't it?
I wish to go back to the fairy tale land that we lived in when we were still young. When we were still very young. Even if we couldn't change the world, at least we can hid in our dreams, can't we?
